Job Description:
A Dublin, Ohio team has a long-term contract opportunity for a Quality Assurance Engineer to assure the delivery of safe and reliable IT solutions to production by proactively working with project teams to ensure compliance with established process requirements. This person will be required to proactively address issues and aggressively implement preventive actions.
This person must drive continuous improvement through analysis of data and involvement of all team members in the corrective action process and is required to display strong organizational and written skills with the ability to communicate professionally and effectively due to close contact with internal and external customers.
Additional tasks:
•Establish documentation required for project support, in accordance with applicable standards.
•Monitor and analyze trends in process performance and control data with the goal of focusing on continuous improvement opportunities that reduce customer complaints.
•Work effectively in a team setting while interacting comfortably with members of the team at all levels.
•Support the Quality System and its components (ex. internal and external auditing, CAPA, calibration, metrics, etc.)
The following is a list of requirements and qualifications for the successful candidate:
•A minimum of a bachelor's degree in an IT discipline, business, quality management or related fields.
•Must have strong computer skills including software development, project management, software development lifecycles, word processing, spreadsheets, and databases.
•Must be motivated and results-oriented.
•Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills, theory and principals of statistics.
•Must have the ability to perform root cause investigations.
•Strong interpersonal and communication skills are required.
•Possess the ability to work with diverse functional groups.
•Experience with (or working knowledge of) ISO standards, FDA cGMP's, and Six Sigma is desirable.
•PMP, ASQ or QAI certification is a plus.
•Packaging or Pharmaceutical Industry knowledge is a plus.
