A smart & highly skilled Application Release Lead is needed in Columbus, Ohio for an exciting contract opportunity. For this role, applicants must possess an effective blend of Project Management skills and knowledge with technical/application experience and knowledge. The role requires strong communication and facilitation skills.
The role is responsible for:
• Planning and managing application release work
• Assigning, allocating, and tracking Application Release Team tasks
• Managing day-to-day release work assignments
• Providing status to Project Managers
• Collaborating with Project Managers on risks, issues, and change requests.

This Lead has duties of instructing, directing, and checking the work of other applications development personnel and will lead a team that devises or modifies procedures to solve problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. He or she is responsible for program design, coding, testing, debugging, and documentation and must have full technical knowledge of all phases of applications programming. The Lead is also responsible for quality assurance review and acting as project leader for projects with small budgets or limited duration, as well as for directing and monitoring the work of team members.
