Job Description:
An Informatica / ETL Developer with Data Warehousing ETL experience & strong SQL skills is needed for a contract role in Columbus, Ohio. For this position, the individual must have the ability to independently design Power Center workflows within the firm’s development standards.
This role will work hand in hand with a team consisting of the architect, solutions analysts, test engineer and project manager to understand data requirements and develop Informatica code to extract data from source systems and integrate this data into the firm’s Data Warehouse. In this role, this individual will also be responsible for unit testing all code that is developed. He/She will be asked to sit in on peer reviews to review other developers code and finally will be responsible for fixing any defects in code that are identified during the system and integration testing processes.
Additional expectations include:
•Utilization of project team’s processes and tools to report and escalate issues in a timely manner so that proactive measures can be taken
•Provide the necessary status of work to the team project manager
•Ensure high quality of work
