Job Description:
A Tester/Systems Analyst is needed for a Columbus, Ohio project. This role requires the candidate be a good communicator, fluent in testing best practices (certifications a plus), and be outgoing with the ability to work with limited direction. Applicants should have at least six years of relevant experience; project management experience is preferred.
This person will be asked to formulate and defines system scope and objectives through research and fact-finding to develop or modify complex information systems. He or she must be able to devise and modify procedures to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations, operating time, and form of desired results. This person will be responsible for preparing detailed specifications from which complex programs will be written, along with analyzing and revising existing system logic difficulties and documentation as necessary.
Additional requirements:
• Proficient with Quality Center tool
• Ability to analyze an application for potential breaking points
• Technical Savvy
• Ability to work in an open/collaborative work environment (full time)
• Flexibility (May be asked to change direction quickly, work different schedules)
• Able to understand data structure and definitions
• Able to review technical specifications document
• Able to understand the application impact of business requirements
• Ability to determine application interfaces with the systems
