Job Description:	We are looking for a Business Analyst who understands business requirements and can interpret and write system requirements for design and development of the firm’s applications. Qualified individuals will have 8+ years experience in systems analysis and must be able to act independently under general direction, providing technical consulting on the most complex projects. This person may have quality assurance review responsibilities. Skills (and level) required for this role include: Expert: Experience with written and verbal communications, and facilitating meetings Expert: Experience with Lotus Notes, and Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio, and Microsoft Windows and UNIX file structures Expert: Experienced Information Technologist with background through all aspects of the software development life cycle Expert: Specific experience translating business requirements into technical system requirements Expert: Specific experience researching and analyzing logic difficulties or changes, and writing system requirements documentation and ETL data mappings In-Depth: Oracle - experience querying and understanding the system catalogue as well as table and column definitions In-Depth: SQL - experience writing and executing average queries, and reading and understanding complex queries Working: AllFusion / ERwin - experience reading and understanding ERwin data models Working: Informatica - experience reading and understanding Informatica scripts and data translation mappings Working: Java, XML, HTML - experience reading and understanding Java applications, and XML and HTML documents Working: Batch - experience reading and understanding JCL, batch schedules, job dependencies, and abend messages Working: QualityCenter - experience entering system requirements and researching defects
