Position:	Unix Developer- Strong C, C++ skills

Job Description:	A Columbus, Ohio company has a contract opportunity for a mid-level Unix Developer with at least 8 years experience in software development. This person must have strong C/C++ skills, experience with scripting languages (Shell, Perl) and be familiar with database applications (Oracle, Sybase). For this position, applicants must have a proven track record of development accomplishments working in a small team environment. He or she must be a good communicator, able to effectively work with end users for small programming development requests. The developer should have independent analytical & problem solving skills. The Developer will support the ongoing maintenance and enhancement requests for the project, providing analysis & development support, working with other development staff, project leaders and end users. The position requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Technology field.
