Job Description:
The analyst would be responsible, on an on-call rotational basis, to triage inbound production support or business support incidents, assign them to appropriate teams, and field/resolve those related to the core applications.
Skills Required:
** J2EE Checklist is required ***
- 5+ years of professional experience with software development
-4+ years of experience with Oracle data base concepts.
-3+ years of Java/J2EE programming experience.
- 2+ years of experience in Websphere Application Server (Version 6.x)
- Experience deploying applications on WebSphere Application Server
- Excellent verbal/written communication
- Self-reliant, motivated resource that takes initiative to learn and understand technologies and applications
- Ability to triage code-related incidents, identify root cause, determine and implement resolution
- Production support experience is required
- Triage, System Maintenance, Service Level Management and Operational Processes
- Must demonstrate in-depth understanding of configuration management and release management skills
- Must be self motivated and be able to work groups and must have good communication skills
- It is required to work weekends, provide off-hour support, and/or carry pagers on a rotational on-call schedule.
Skills Preferred:
. Familiarity with XML, XSL
. Familiarity with ITSM/ITIL
Education Required:
B.S. degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent experience
