Job Description: This is a part time (20 to 25 hours) position with our client in Southfield that is expected to last approximately 3 months. There is a potential that it could develop into a longer term position with more hours in the future.

- Develop and manage the overall communications strategy that aligns with business objectives and supports functional initiatives.
- Actively participate in Organizational Development Meetings with function and company leaders to understand business and functional priorities and ensure communication strategies and plans are aligned with these needs.
- Establish, develop and implement all internal and communications plans that support Operations functions (Loan Originations and Loan Servicing) to ensure clear, consistent information is being delivered in the most effective manner.

1. Coordinate the Monthly Dealer-Partner Bulletin including creating the schedule, proactively soliciting content, writing/editing content, layout, approval and electronic distribution. Refine process and bulletin as appropriate.
2. Coordinate the Monthly Credit Report Newsletter including creating the schedule, writing dealer-partner profiles and other content, editing content and managing the design and hard copy distribution. Refine process and newsletter as appropriate.
3. Develop and manage the Bi-Weekly News You Can Use e-mail bulletin including creating the schedule, proactively soliciting articles, writing/editing articles, layout, approval and electronic distribution. Actively explore ways to improve this publication in terms of content, layout and distribution to broaden its reach beyond just Loan Originations.
4. Create and distribute Urgent Communications to dealer-partners and field sales team to communicate time sensitive information that cannot be held until the next scheduled edition of the Dealer-Partner Bulletin, Credit Report or News You Can Use.
- Assess, create, implement and manage Loan Servicing (primary audiences: front end, VRS, recovery, customer service) communication plans and vehicles.
- Oversee the implementation of corporate communication plans and vehicles to strengthen team member understanding of corporate-wide goals
-Provide training and coaching to leaders on communication processes or materials as requested.

Background Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or a related field strongly preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in a Communications role (Corporate Communications, publication editor, newsletter, etc.) developing and executing communication processes and tools required.
- Strong oral and written communication as well as presentation skills.
- Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Professional.
- Strong attention to detail.
