Position: Operations Management Practitioner

Job Description: TechOps is looking for a person to perform operations development type rolls. The person will be responsible for collecting business requirements to design and develop WebFOCUS Report Caster schedules as well as NewScale requests. Person will also perform some operational support work. Development work will be in three tools:
- WebFOCUS Report Caster Scheduler
- NewScale Request Tool
- SiteScope Monitoring Tool

Skills Required:
o Can pay attention to details
o Motivated and Self Starter
o Carry through with follow-up items
o Can work with little direction alone (once trained) but can work within a group structure.
o Familiar with job scheduling methodology (Autosys, Cron Jobs, Window Task Scheduler)
o Familiar with Web browser functionality used in the tool (Report Caster) to configure reports schedules. o Can assist with process / service improvements
o Dedicated to quality and group pride o Facilitator experience
o Can collect user requirements for service request Specs
o Can thoroughly document new scale spec requirements in appropriate documents

Skills Preferred:
o Business Analysts or S3 Support technician
o Design NewScale service requests in a web development environment
o Manage customer acceptance testing in the development environment
o Knowledge of SiteScope, WebFOCUS, and/or NewScale tool sets would be helpful

Education Required:
equivalent work experience in the requested areas.

o Migrate service request types across environments
o Roll out and support new services request types to the customers
o Document all service requests types during and after production deployment o Developer / Maintenance programmer, etracker developer or individual with some form of development skills Some Operations support work, react to incident, perform problem management, process service requests
