Job Description:
Responsible for the management and coordination of FST test environments. Perform planning and coordination of test environment set-up and maintenance for development, QC, QA, QA Parallel and any to-be-determined test environments. Work with North American supervisor to lead and coordinate FST Technology Renewal (hardware and software) projects.
Skills Required:
- Ability to plan, coordinate and manage modifications/upgrades to FST technology and infrastructure components in QA test and prod environments.
Will be required to perform planning, coordination and lead the implementation of the following technologies:
Oracle 9i/10g, J2EE, Web Servers, IBM Websphere, DataStage ETL 7.5, Autosys, Business Objects, Teradata, FTP, IBM MQ Series.
- Ability to plan and develop end of life strategies for FST infrastructure components (3rd party software and servers).
- Prepare, establish and maintain FST test environments as needed by dev and prod supp teams. This includes H/W amd S/W infrastructure components, appl code, appl db structure, test data and user accounts/security.
- Assist and coordinate Finance and Accounting teams in establishing test environ in the RAS Lab.
- PM exp and the ability leading projects of several people and groups
- Ability to Coordinate Install and Testing of new FST H/W and S/W infrastructure.
- Work with ITI, DB engineering, Java COE, component owners, central arch, etc to procure, install and test new H/W and S/W infra components. (e.g. Server Hardware, Oracle, Business Objects, DataStage, WSL, etc.)
- Proactively work with appl dev teams to make sure that FST appl are properly tested prior to the introduction of new H/W and infra related S/W.
- Assist with the monitoring of disk space utilization and DB space utilization and take action as required.
- Prior Ford Solution Delivery (SDM) experience or the ability to learn SDM quickly.
Skills Preferred:
UNIX and UNIX scripting Programming skills in Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL), DataStage, J2EE Oracle DBA skills Server/Hardware sizing experience Experience using DBCR system, eTracker, Request Center
Education Required:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
