Position: Security & Control Engineering Practitioner

Job Description: *Provide 2nd level support for CNS Website, P-Synch, Secure Email, Securid, SecurityMAP, SSL , WSL, WSLx *Monitor production server availability, performance and security
*Automate server related maintenance tasks
*Develop, document, and perform backup and disaster recovery procedures
*Application Configuration.
*Maintain documentation of all administrative processes, procedures, and configurations.
*Test and roll directory and security tools changes from the QA environment to the production (QA & Production environments are owned by HSO) *Monitor performance
*Provide and maintain automation standards
*Manage GSS/CSM Load Balancer Support
*Maintain system administrator accounts and passwords
*Second Level Customer Support *Provide ongoing training for directory and security tools for 1st level support personnel
*Respond to 2nd level GIRS tickets forwarded from the helpdesk. Determine which requests require 3rd level support and send those to the appropriate 3rd level GIRS queues. *Provide Coordination with 3rd level support team to resolve customer issues in the production environment. Lead the resolution of these customer production issues.
*Provide production server services: start/restart/stop processes; rotate and analyze server logs; develop monthly statistical reports; maintain server configuration; renew certificates and manage persistent credentials; upgrade server software, etc.

Skills Required:
*Multiple platform experience with Windows, Linux or UNIX.
*Programming and scripting knowledge that include .NET, Java, C++, and Perl.

Skills Preferred:
*Excellent communications skills ¿ written and oral.
*Excellent UNIX technical skills. *Experience in web development technologies is preferred.
*Excellent time management skills *Experience in Microsoft office tools.

Experience Required:
*At least 3 years of IT Systems Engineering Operations experience. *Experience with Security Authentication and Authorization
systems.

Education Required:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
