Job Description:
Implement and provide 1st - Level support of various plant floor applications, including SMART and Assembly Tracking System
- Represent the Romeo Engine Plant user community in various user and focus groups. Provide general IT related support to Romeo Engine Plant user community, as needed. Participate in the application of Ford Production System Concepts on the Romeo Engine Plant shop floor.
Skills Required:
General understanding of current systems: development, implementation, and support methodologies.
Prior experience developing or supporting applications.
Prior support or development exposure to MS Windows 2000, and XP environments.
Prior support or development exposure to SQL Server and Oracle database environments.
Good oral, written, and communication skills.
Good interpersonal skills.
Skills Preferred:
Ford User Support experience highly desirable.
Experience Required:
2-3 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Experience Preferred:
Experience with PLCs or a controls environment is preferred.
Education Required:
BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related engineering discipline
