Job Description:
Assist with the development, enhancement, maintenance and support of the existing J2EE messaging applications XNET/ICE, Creditweb, dealer toolbar and any new J2EE dealer facing applications.
*Work with business customers or other IT staff to clarify business or technical requirements
*Provide analysis support for load testing as needed
*Participate in code reviews
*Work with various IT teams (DBA's, Mainframe, WebLogic Services, Build Team, ATD Frameworks, etc) as needed.
*Provide Duty Analyst support 24x7 on a rotating basis.
Skills Required:
Technical skills (5+ years) in the areas of J2EE, Java, HTML, XML, Web Services, DB2, SQL, WebLogic, and server side Java-based development
*Working knowledge of J2EE Patterns, object oriented analysis, and systems development methodology(USDM)
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills
*Technical Leadership capabilities
*Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills required to maintain good working partnerships with IT and business units
*Highly motivated professional(self-starter and results oriented)
Skills Preferred:
*Experience with PVCS
*Experience with Java-based IDE - Eclipse preferred
*Experience with LoadRunner testing a plus
Experience Required:
*Experience with LINUX and Window Operating Systems
*Experience with SQLJ/ DB2Connect
*Demonstrated commitment to quality and project timing
* Ability to work in a small team and perform many tasks simultaneously.
Experience Preferred:
Experience with high availability and high volume applications.
Education Required:
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent preferred
