Job Description: The application runs on an infrastructure environment consisting of: AIX servers, Linux servers Oracle 9i/10g databases, IBM Web Servers, IBM Websphere Application Servers, J2EE application code, DataStage ETL 7.5, Autosys, Business Objects, Teradata and IBM MQ Series.
- This position is responsible for planning new instances of the application and then leading and coordinating installs/set-ups of hardware, 3rd party software and application code needed to run the application.
- The position is also responsible for planning the strategy and timing for the next versions of operating systems, 3rd party software and servers within the current architecture.
- The successful candidate will also work with North American supervisor to lead and coordinate technology renewal (hardware and software) projects.

Skills Required:
- Experience in planning and managing environment set-ups for applications involving 4 or more of the technologies utilized: AIX, Linux, Oracle 9i/10g/11g database, IBM Websphere application server, DataStage 7.5, Business Objects, Teradata, Autosys, IBM MQ Series and Oracle/Unix/FST security.
- Ability to plan and develop end of life strategies for all hardware and 3rd party software infrastructure components.
- Ability to work with ITO, database engineering, Java COE, component owners, central architecture, etc. to procure, install and test new hardware and software infrastructure components.
- PM experience and the ability to lead projects of comprised of several people and groups

Skills Preferred:
- Prior Solution Delivery (SDM) experience or the ability to learn SDM quickly.
- UNIX and UNIX scripting
- Programming skills in Oracle (SQL and PL/SQL), DataStage ETL, J2EE - Oracle DBA skills
- Server/Hardware sizing experience
- Experience using request tools: DBCR system, eTracker, Request Center.

Excellent written and verbal communication
- Will participate in Weekly Review Meetings
- Participates in as needed/daily meetings as required by the supervisor and project manager.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with North American and India based application development, software configuration management and infrastructure teams.

Education Required:
Bachelor degree Computer Science or equivalent
